Its hard to tell you a bookstore without knowing your exact location. But some good online stores are ebay and amazon.com they have good quality books cheap. If the book isn’t there then try to contact the publisher and they might be able to help.

Question by john: my 4 year old goldendoodle prefers to sleep on the hardwood floors although she has access to “dog beds” in?

most areas of the house, as well as our couches. i try to encourage her to use her beds, but she likes the hardwood floors. I’m worried about her bones and arthritis. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Yeah leave her be. When she gets older she may want softer places to lay but for now leave her alone.

Question by Carlaney: We feed our Toy poodle only real food “no dog food” She eats meats, rice and veggies. Is this bad for her?

She has never really enjoyed “dog food”. She gets a scrambled egg beater with 1/4 piece of cheese for breakfast and whatever we have for dinner if it’s not too spicy or greasy. I always try to blance it out. She has never been sick and weighs 10 pounds.

I would go easy on the grain and be sure she gets plenty of meat. You might want to give a dietary supplement, flax seed oil and low fat cottage cheese with her food just to make sure she is getting every thing she needs. Giving your dog hard chew toys and brushing her teeth might be a good idea too.

Actually…its less expensive for a smaller animal…your Heartworm and flea protection will be cheaper…not to mention you wont be feeding him/her as much.
